A Hollywood firm is heavily involved in acquiring movie rights to a number of popular (and not-so-popular) anime and manga titles, as well as some computer game franchises. Among those video games? 1980s arcade classic Joust. Repeat after me: WTF, Batman?
Guy in Taiwan goes on a killing spree, tries to blame an anime show. I’ll have to try that excuse out sometime - “Sorry, officer; it’s not that I was speeding, just that I was recreating one of my favorite chase scenes from Scooby Doo.”
