MANPADS Stuff from DHS
If you’ve been hanging around the interesting parts of the internet for a while, you might recall that, in the summer of 2006, Secrecy News published and was “asked” to withdraw a DHS report on counter-MANPADS technology. Most observers agreed that DHS, who alleged the report should have been classified, but wasn’t, were being a little hypersensitive about the matter.
Two years later, two new, very interesting documents on the same counter-MANPADS program have surfaced, and while Uncle Sam knowingly made them available, you have to wonder whether they’ll flip out about these, as well.
