The Memory Blog, 2004-2007

Years ago, Russ Kick created The Memory Hole, a repository of webpages, documents, and other media in danger of disappearing “down the memory hole” forever. Often republishing “scrubbed” government documents, Russ came to a fair degree of fame when he published the first pictures of the caskets of fallen servicemen returning stateside, and was one of the most prominent users of the FOIA as a journalistic tool.
