The military’s TALON system generated a lot of attention a few years ago, amid allegations that the military was “spying” on anti-war groups as diverse as Food Not Bombs and the Quakers. (Yes, the religous group.) Amid all the other questions raised, a few people apparently wondered whether such force-protection measures - the sharing of information about potential threats to military and government assets, domestic or otherwise - might be in violation of FISA.
