FBI Responsiveness

The FBI receive a fairly considerable number of Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act requests every year. Unlike some other agencies, they’re pretty good about processing requests in a reasonable amount of time, all things considered. While having a large and experienced staff certainly helps, I suspect that a large part of the secret of their success, so to speak, at processing FOIA and PA requests promptly is the meticulous organization of their records system.
