Damn Those Communist Bastards

Damn those communist bastards in… Fairmont, Minnesota? I have no idea how I missed hearing about this at the time, but it seems some UN-loving pinkos in the America-hating heart of MN managed to coerce the city council into passing a resolution endorsing the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace.

Secure Portable Storage

One of the best solutions for securing portable digital media (flash drives, thumb drives, and the like) is the open-source encryption suite TrueCrypt. Within the limitations of what it does, it’s a great program. It doesn’t try to do everything; just handles one task very, very well, using some impressive encryption options to protect data of any sort from prying eyes. There’s a problem, though, and it’s potentially huge.
