More Urban Explorers at the Walker

Director Melody Gilbert, introducing the filmMelody Gilbert’s hit documentary Urban Explorers: Into the Darkness had it’s second, and final, sold-out screening at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis this afternoon, as part of the final day of their “Women With Vision” series. Mercifully free of drunken, disruptive @$$holes from Wisconsin, it was as well-received as the Friday-night screening, and followed by an entertaining Q&A session with director Gilbert (to the right, introducing the film), as well as a handful of local urban explorers.

No word yet on when it’ll be coming to a small (or large!) screen year you, either via television, a theatre, or DVD sales, but it’s suggested you check up on the movie’s website for news of any developments. 🙂

Urban Explorers at the Walker

Urban Explorers made it’s Minnesota premiere last night before a sold-out crowd at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. The same “final” edit as seen at Cinequest, the movie was different enough from the workprints screened in the Twin Cities previously to make it well worth the $8 ticket price, even for those who had seen the work-in-progress earlier.
