Mything Persons

Is our children learning? Evidently, neither are those in Britain, where appalling survey results find that twenty-three percent of people believe Winston Churchill was a myth – while some fifty-eight percent believe that Sherlock Holmes was a real person.

Oh, how the mighty America has fallen; once we clear lead in ignorance and stupidity; now the rest of the world is quickly catching up. Strange, really; statistics seem to indicate an ‘idiot gap’, but day-to-day observations suggest quite the contrary…
