Well, That Was Fun
After some not-so-gentle nudging from the forces of progress, Entropic Memes has been updated to WordPress 2.0.7.
This isn’t terribly noteworthy, except that we upgraded from the last beta of 1.5.3, which it appears is no longer being maintained, alas.
So it is that heaps of unnecessary Ajax badness are finally heaped upon us. Yay WordPress. Not.
Somewhat surprisingly, the upgrade appears to have gone off without a hitch; all our plugins are up-to-date, of course, and everything handled the giant leap in stride. A remarkable testament to WordPress and it’s community of developers, that the 1.5.3-2.0.7 was utterly painless. Mind you, 2.0.bloat is about 50% slower than 1.5.3 was, but such is the price we are forced to pay for all those gee-whiz features we neither want nor use.
So… Welcome to AJAX country.
