Kick the Witch When He’s Dead

It’s stuff like this that just makes one want to scream. The government won’t allow a memorial plaque for a Wiccan soldier to bear a pentagram; crosses are okay, Stars of David are okay, and they’ve even got some sort of special symbol for - get this - athiests that’s approved… but the pagans and Wiccans and witches and warlocks in uniform are out of luck if they get their tickets punched.

He got an Air Medal and a Bronze Star (oh the irony) for his actions in Afghanistan, but Patrick Stewart can’t get a star on his bronze plaque.

So much for freedom of religion and veteran’s rights, eh?
